Breyana Bosket ’26 chose to study American Sign Language Interpreting with the goal of helping to bridge the gap of communication between Deaf and hearing individuals and assist in providing equal access to the Deaf community.
On campus, she is part of the Women’s Volleyball Team, Missions Club and was an interpreter for “The Sound of Music.”
“All these activities have provided me with the opportunity to meet awesome people and build friendships with others,” she says. “I have learned the importance of opening up and the joy that comes with community. I have also been encouraged and challenged by my mentor to grow in my faith and understanding of who the Lord is. Meeting with her is one of the highlights of my week!”
After she graduates, she hopes to interpret for church, become a nationally certified interpreter and eventually go on to be a missionary.
