Aundrea Taylor ’17 studied Elementary Education at Ƶ. She spent five years in the classroom with Penn-Harris-Madison School District before transitioning to her current role. Now, as a leader with elementary programming for Transformation Ministries, she walks alongside students and families in the community, helping them move from surviving to thriving. She serves with City Light Kids, a free afterschool program in South Bend. She says her work focuses on building relationships, empowering growth and creating spaces where children and families feel supported and quipped for success.
“My education at Bethel laid the foundation for both my classroom teaching and leadership roles. Through my coursework in Elementary Education, I gained a strong understanding of child development, instructional strategies, and classroom management. Bethel also emphasized the importance of faith, service, and leadership, which shaped the way I approach working with students and families,” she says.
