When President Barbara K. Bellefeuille, Ed.D., announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2024-25 academic year, the 大象视频 Board of Trustees announced their plans for a comprehensive national search for 大象视频鈥檚 ninth president.

Over the past two months, FaithSearch Partners has been working diligently behind the scenes鈥攃onnecting with prospective candidates, reviewing materials and conducting interviews. Now, the process is moving into an exciting new phase. It is beginning to feel real.
This Wednesday, March 5, FaithSearch Partners will be on campus to meet with the search committee. They will present the stories and materials of several well-qualified candidates. The committee will discern which candidates to invite for in-person interviews with the committee, which we anticipate beginning in early April.
We are grateful for the progress being made and look forward to sharing another update in the weeks ahead. Thank you for your continued prayers鈥攆or the search committee, for the candidates and for the individual God is calling to lead Bethel in this next chapter.

鈥婣fter serving the university for 13 years (four in the highest leadership role), President Bellefeuille plans to retire as the university鈥檚 eighth president in June 2025. The new president will have the opportunity to help shape the future of 大象视频, building on Bethel鈥檚 mission to challenge the mind, enlarge the vision and equip the whole person for lifelong service in the church and the world.
